Naranjos House is located in southern Mexico Oaxaca, near the town of Puerto Escondido to the north-east. The project was to be developed as a holiday retreat, having tropical warm weather throughout the entire year.
The site has two neighboring constructions to the site that serve as vacation sites aswell, and the beach front facing south. The masterplan involved placing the house in the middle of the site, having a long access path that crosses in the long axis, containing the main construction between a circular wall to the sides, but always preserving the pure geometry on plan. This wall dissolves at the south part of the project, opening a wide view to the ocean. The circular plan contains and serves multiple purposes as terraces, the pool area and more provate gardens.
The house is oriented to the north and south, having in plan strong linear axis of structure that hold the program within. The most public and open space is in the middle of this linear arrangement, bluring the line of the inside and outside to the beachfront.
