This urban densification project makes possible the recovery of a site in abandonment in the middle of Veracruz City, Mexico. The site of 23x4.5 m has the advantage of having an easy access to transportation routes, school zones and commerce.
This densification proposal is based in a mixed-use building including 6 low budget apartment units with a single bedroom and two commerce units located at street level. Both apartment and commerce units have a view and direct access to a pedestrian street and a public park located infront the northern facade of the building, spaces that have the pontential of becoming recreational and public hot sopts.
Due to the site´s characteristics, a minmal yet efficient architectural program is proposed with all the necessary spaces. This arrangements include movable furniture units so space can be adapted and transformed to the user´s needs.
