Bayon – calle 20 is a set of two decoration stores which share a certain platform for design.

The project is located in high vehicular traffic area and responds to it as an urban sideboard, the ground floor works as this great sideboard to the exterior that can be read at eye’s elevation and at the vehicle’s speed, closing the views to the exterior and this way isolating itself from noise and visual contamination.

The upper floor has a quarry coating marked with a big opening which harbors the outside furniture.

The sideboard’s horizontality is broken by the staircase that at the same time it’s the one that separates one business from another, without being a blunt barrier but rather a filter.

The staircase supported by a lattice and formed by flown steps gives a feeling of lightness and transparency that invites the user to see what happens in each area.

The upper floor has a prompter relation with the exterior and is marked by specific openings, related to the ground floor through a double height.

The interior cleanliness allows the furniture and fabrics to give the space color and life, only making evident the structure which contrasts with the white color of the walls.
